I visited The Woods of Caledonia. I don't know what the thing is about having the doors locked and the elevator locked. Maybe it's because of the people that they serve there. We were taken to the memory care floor, that would be the third floor. We did not see assisted living.
I just didnt like it because we were not given a total tour, we were just taken to the third floor and that was that. I only talked to the receptionist and the gentleman who took care of us. They were OK.
The person who stayed in the room they showed us was an artist, and she decided to create her own room. So, she had it painted with a bright red on part of the wall, and a very, very bright yellow in the bathroom. If you would have had a hangover and went into the bathroom, you wouldn't want to stay in there too long or turn the light on.
It's very clean. The other thing is, if you had a room and you're toward the backyard, all you saw were trees. I don't know, maybe in the summertime it looks better, but I dont know in the spring.

I like it for my mother. The tour was very good. The staff was very informative and knew what she was talking about. She took time to give me a proper tour. I looked at a single room. They had a lot of different activities. However, my sister thought it was too for them to travel.
