About This Community
HeatherWood is a beautiful two-story RCAC with a ground floor CBRF wing called The Glen which serves residents with cognitive impairments. All apartments are spacious 1- and 2-bedroom private apartments with kitchenettes. Basic cable, phone and hard-wired internet is included in monthly rent. Common spaces include living area with fireplace, study, media room and large chapel which is also multi-purpose for exercise class.
Services include daily meals and snacks, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, medication management, assistance with daily living tasks, Life Enrichment programs serving the mind, body, and spirit, and personalized Growth and Wellness Plans.

I liked HeatherWood Assisted Living & Memory Care the best of all the places I went to. I just thought everything was so nice, clean, and bright, and it didn't feel like I was in a nursing home environment. The food looked good, it was nice, they had a patio area that overlooked a dog park and a garden area. All the people there looked so happy. The only downside was they had limited memory care, so there was a long wait to get in there which could be a problem for people if they want to move. I think there are only 8 beds for memory care
