We chose Ridgeview Place Assisted Living and Memory Care for my parents, because they have the memory care in the same building as the assisted living. I knew I was going to have to use that, and we did. My mom is now in the memory care, while my dad is in the assisted living. Everybody's super nice. They seemed to really care. Staffing is always a hard thing, especially right now, but I've never had anybody that I thought was not a good pick. They're friendly and their heart is in the right place. They're just very respectful.
It's a pretty small community. When you walked in, it's lovely and it had a very nice entry. There's some couches and a fireplace. It's comfortable. The rooms are nice. It's a newer building and has been fully remodeled. They try to keep them clean. They do repairs. The dining area is also nice. The pandemic keeps everybody kind of in their rooms, but they've started the activities up again and are doing better. They have a small outdoor area if you want to go out there. They've got bingo and a little stretching time. They're just very little loose with it. They don't make them do anything that they don't want to do. It is just more on keeping them happy.
