About This Community
Expressions is an assisted living community that embraces those with dementia. Our community specializes in dementia care and activities with 24 hour on site nursing services. Our life enriching activities are resident specific to touch on the important aspects of the persons life to create moments of joy.
We believe a resident’s well being is directly related to how they feel and interact with the world around them. We have designed a program that makes our residents feel accepted, important, comfortable…at home. Our goal is to become an extended family; creating a buffer against fear and the stress of the illness.

I considered having my mom go into Expressions because they had an opening. They had a big open dining room, which was very nice, and nice rooms. It is right behind the hospital in town, so it is in a good location. It is comparable to most other assisted living with three or four activities a day and a couple of choices for food.

We moved my mother into Expressions at Enumclaw two weeks ago. It's a great, clean place with a beautiful setting, great staff, lots of activities, and memory care. They have exercises and outings, too. She's a little picky, but she seems to like the food. I did like the fact that they are very careful to feed certain people certain things. It looked homemade and not like it came out of the box. They have different types of rooms there, and her room is very large. Every time I've been there, they were great. I've only seen the exercises, and the person doing it was great. I love the staff. We put her in this facility because my brother's wife's parents are in the same facility, it's close to my brother's house, and it's cheaper than any of the places referred to me.
