I had an in-person tour of Sunrise at Bon Air. Everyone was friendly. There were no red flags. The staff member was nice, and she was sympathetic with my situation. The rooms felt like a little apartment. Everything looked clean, and they had their COVID protocols that were good.

I toured Sunrise at Bon Air for my father, and they were very professional. In the little bit of time that I was there, I could see that this was going to be organized, and the people there seemed to communicate well together, and have the best interest of the residents at heart. This was another facility that was assisted living with a memory care wing, and I really liked the memory care side. They also had amenities where they had residents groomed. They also had a doctor that would come in, and you could have the prescription delivered there. I liked the way that it was set up because they had different stations, reminiscing stations or something like that, so like one station may have things like a doll baby, one station may have like some military items, and another station may have travel items. It was just to encourage residents to play with those things, and to talk and reminisce about the life and experiences they made that they may have had in those kinds of fields or areas. There was one spot that had like a wedding dress and the residents could walk by them. And again, the whole thing was to get them talking. I liked the way it was setup. I did not have a meal there, but when I visited they were having a meal, and it looked like they were plenty of staff there on deck to assist with residents that may need assistance with eating. It was very family-oriented, even the way that it was setup just felt very cozy to me. They have an outdoor area as well, and that was nice and cozy. The room was nice and clean, and the room that they showed me that they had available was when you step out of the room, you were stepping out into the open, common area. I liked that, and thought it was nice. My father will have his own bathroom and showers in there, too. This place was one level. I met with Ruthie, and another staff. They were very informative, and they were just a good team together.
