I toured The Crossings at Ironbridge for my father. The tour was great. The staff's name was Josh. This was actually the very first tour that I did. It wasn't that far because it was right in between where I lived and where I work. Even at the time that I was talking to him on the phone to set up the tour, he was great, and very gracious. And again, he was my very first tour, so he kind of got a lot of my questions and uncertainty. He was very patient, he answered my questions, and I did not feel rushed. He showed me everything. I ended up being introduced by Josh to one of the residents' husbands. There's a woman who was a resident in the memory care and her husband was there visiting her, and I got to meet and talk to him on the way out, which was nice. Josh made a point for us to talk to the spouse of the resident, and he raved about the Crossings at Ironbridge. It is a pretty facility. They have a courtyard that's on the ground level. This is a multi-level facility. The upstairs where the memory care was had a salon, a gym, or physical therapy room. They have a common area, and an activity area. When I got there, some of the residents were about to play bingo. I got to see and meet some members of the staff, and they were nice. I got to meet some residents, too. The room was nice, and I thought it was roomy. This one was probably the size of a dorm room, maybe something like that. It was a nice-size room, and I thought there was enough room. I thought the place was clean as far as the room and the memory care floor itself. What I didn't like was they're up on the floor, and that's all they get. There were events where they would mingle with the assisted living residents. They got to come down to the courtyard from time to time, but I think it was a little bit tight, and a little bit more cramped upstairs. It's L-shaped. If I'm not mistaken, I think the salon and the physical therapy room was on the assisted living floor. So, residents in memory care will have to come down. The memory care level is just the L-shape. It's the only amount of space that they would get, but as far as the ground's upkeep and cleanliness, it was nice. The receptionist was very, very sweet, and they all just felt very, very kind. The good thing is that a lot of them have continuity. A lot of the staff have been there for years, there isn't a lot of turnovers. The receptionist has been there for like 20 years, while some people have been there like 15.
