My brother and his wife moved into Commonwealth Senior Living at Charlottesville. They're both in memory care. The staff is extremely friendly, and sensitive to the emotional end of our quest. They were bending over backward to help us carry things, and everything we needed was made available to us. The room that they were assigned is very bright, with lots of sunshine, spacious, clean, and had a nice bathroom for handicapped people to get in and out of a tub. We sat with them while they had their first lunch. It was very friendly, people could come over to the table and say hi and sit down and visit. I think they had several activities, and I haven't heard much. I haven't had much feedback from my brother about that. He was thinking that he didn't want any activities, but I think he did talk about walking down the hall, striking up a conversation with somebody, and having a very nice chat. So I think he's settling in and enjoying some of the people. I know that they do have a beauty barber shop.
