My mother moved into Riverway Assisted Living and Memory Care. I like the facility. I actually haven't eaten there yet. I'm going to be having lunch with my mom today.
They have a courtyard for those in memory care. I like that it has a central area for their dining room that the rooms open into. It's easier for my mom to be social and not have to wander down the hall.
I know they do activities, and they drive them around places.
I felt like the staff was very responsive and welcomed my mom warmly. It's a little bit more expensive. The building is actually in pretty good shape.
I've seen them singing, doing puzzles, and different things. One of the things that appealed to me about Riverway was the fact that they would allow my mom to bring her cat. When I was visiting yesterday, they had a group doing some coloring.
