About This Community
Located across the street from the historic tabernacle, Legacy House of Bountiful provides both assisted living and memory care services. Our residents enjoy daily activities, restaurant-style dining, beautifully decorated living areas and a variety of apartment floor plans—all in a home-like setting.

At Legacy House of Bountiful, we believe that the more our residents can be independent, the healthier they are and the better they feel. No matter what stage of life we’re in, maximizing independence, maintaining dignity and having choices are important.

Nevertheless, there comes a time when we all could use a helping hand, even for the most basic daily activities like dressing, bathing, grooming or taking medications. At Legacy House of Bountiful, we recognize those times and provide just the right amount of help to meet those needs—it’s part of our Personal Touch philosophy.

Visit today. We’d love to have you over for lunch.

I liked Legacy House of Bountiful. It's not as grandiose as the others but it seemed very welcoming. What it lacks in grandeur, it makes up for just a very welcoming and cozy appeal. It just seems very good and very nice. The staff that accommodated me was very nice, she was wonderful. The place has all been recently renovated and I love the location because it's right off of Main Street. It's such a charming, historic main street with parks and it's right by a bookstore and the post office. I looked at their assisted living and memory care. They had their own salon and daily lists of activities. I loved that outside of each door, they have a personalized area, kind like a front porch even though it's not a porch, and it was just really sweet to see how each person had decorated or their family had decorated the exterior with a wreath or just different things that maybe were important in that family. I liked that. It seemed like they had all the facilities that you would hope for. I didn't see the food, but the dining room looked nicely appointed and the linen napkins looked nice.

We chose Legacy House of Bountiful for our mother because it's very close to my sisters, and that was one of the big draws. The care ratio was good for my mother who we will put in the memory care. The size of the apartments was a consideration, the ratio of residents, availability, my sisters are within 5 minutes, and we just felt like it was the right place to go. She's very happy there. The meals have been fine, and she hasn't complained. When I've seen the meals, they've been tastefully prepared and presented. We get very decent and complete care for my mom through the services there. Everything has gone very well, and my mom's quite content and that's the biggest thing. She's well attended, the meals are well done, and most of the staff have been terrific. The facility is always clean and always good. We feel like we're paying for what we're getting.

My friend is in memory care at Legacy House of Bountiful. I like the system where you have medical care available and you can talk to and call the people if you have a problem. You're welcome there anytime and they keep track and let you know when your supplies have run out. They have different activities and they all stay involved pretty much. The nice thing about it is there are only 13 patients there. The location is handy for me since I don't live that far away. Most of the staff is really good.

My grandfather moved around from facility to facility based on his dementia and as the stages of it got worse, he started to require more care and lockdown units. Legacy House of Bountiful is where he moved to for about 6 months before he passed away and they were really great. The staff really cares about their patients and they really opened up to us about his progress and how we could help. The facility was very clean and the lockdown unit he was in was quite secure and monitored well. The nurses were always in and out to check on grandpa, especially as he got worse and they really had to check on him often. In the final stages, we came daily and each nurse we interacted with was really friendly and you could tell that they really cared about the work that they do. Once grandpa did pass, the hospice nurse was so kind and respectful towards us. She came in and did a few things to make it so the monitors would be quiet and we could have some alone time before we were ready for them to come in and take care of his body. Overall it was a great facility and a good team of nurses.
