Our memory care community offers activity kitchens, daily programming, planned activities and outings. We liked Landon Ridge Kingwood a lot. It is very nice. People are nice. The place is well-kept, newer-looking, updated and inviting. The staff was very nice and very thorough. We visited the cafeteria, but we did not try the food. They have a hair salon, a courtyard, a meeting room, and crafts. It's very clean.

Landon Ridge - Kingwood was a very nice place. The staff knew all the residents by first name. The residents were pretty ambulatory. They had lots of amenities. That would have been the place for Mom if I could afford it. The rooms were a little bit small, but we mainly looked at rooms in the memory care section. We didn't look at the apartments across the way. They had several rooms and activities for them. The assisted living residents went on field trips and to the casinos. The staff was very friendly. I like that it was off of a major freeway, but far enough back off that you couldn't see it from the freeway, and it's in a wooded area.

My mom has been in Landon Ridge Kingwood for almost a month-and-a-half now. It is OK as far as I know. She has a one-bedroom, which is big enough for a bed and a dresser. She also has a bathroom and a shower. She played bingo twice and went to the movies once. I haven't been there except for one time, however, the place is OK. It also is new.
