The Village at Incarnate Word was well run. It's essentially kind of split into two groups. There are two hallways, but it's very convenient for the residents because each hallway has its own dining area and common area. The rooms were nice. The staff who gave the tour was very nice and knowledgeable about the facility. I don't know anything about the food, but the dining area was nice. They were getting ready to have lunch and so they were bringing people in to sit down, and everyone had a spot, and they were conversing with each other. The rooms were very nice sized. They were easy to access and easy for the residents not to get lost because it was just one row. They had a nice little garden area where they could go outside and sit and garden and watch the birds and things like that. It was very well kept. My only real issue with them is that it was a lot more expensive than the other places I had visited.
