It was the first tour I did. They were great. They were extremely welcoming and extremely helpful. It was fabulous. The staff who toured us was very nice and very helpful. I could tell he wants his residents to feel like they're at home and the families to feel that they're being well taken care of like he would take care of his own mom. The rooms were nice. They had a TV and a little refrigerator for them. They were a good size and easy for the residents. The dining area was very open. It was right at the front of the building. They were all in there because they were doing an ice cream sundae thing. Everyone looked to be having a good time. It was a very open and easy-to-maneuver area. I appreciate the attitude that they have. The gentleman that did the tour was very specific about what they're looking for as far as looking around and making sure that a resident is eating not just pushing food around on their plate that makes it look like they're eating. He makes a point of checking on them individually to make sure that they're not hiding in their rooms because they just don't want to be out with people, but they're actively engaged. And I thought that was a great attitude and I appreciated that. In addition, after I was introduced as we did our tour, the staff came by the office and invited me to join them for the ice cream sundaes and whatnot and offered if I wanted one, and I thought that was very nice.

It was very nice and they seem to know what to do with people who have Alzheimer's. Their rooms and staff was wonderful, they seem to know exactly what to do. Everything looked very nice and clean. The staff seemed to know how to be able to deal with all the residents that needed care. It was their caring staff that made all the difference.
