The Gardens at Brook Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Carehas many apartment floor plans that will satisfy even the most discerning senior. We offer studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans in our assisted living wing. Features of each apartment include in-suite climate control and a kitchenette. For seniors needing memory care, we offer private, shared and semiprivate units. The monthly rent includes utilities, housekeeping, transportation and cable TV.

Our residents’ home isn’t just limited to their apartment; they also have access to all the amenities found throughout our community including an outdoor swimming pool, movie theater and library. Our full-time activity director fills the activity calendar with social events, exercise classes and outings so residents never wonder how they will fill their days.

I've toured The Gardens at Brook Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care. It looks the same as the place I'm trying to get my dad into, only the layout is different and this one is a few years newer. This is also 20% more expensive and 80% farther away. The bathrooms were enormous, and there was no option to use their furniture. The grounds were the superior choice, it was beautiful and they have a pool. The residents were involved in something at the time that I was there, they were all sitting together building or making or coloring something. In terms of staff, they were the superior choice, but at $7000, they ought to be. They probably had more staff than any other place I toured.

The Gardens at Brook Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care was our second choice. I would only use them if I couldn't get another, only because it's a much larger facility. It's connected with the nursing home, and you can walk through from one to the other, but the memory parts are locked. They have a key to show you both. It was very clean. The people looked happy. They had a lot more people that were in Jori chairs and not as active, and so that wasn't really appealing to me, but it was very good. You had to be on a waiting list, which was a good sign. I just preferred the smaller community, plus it was twice as far to drive. It was more hospital-like. The staff was very helpful and honest with us about everything. They were in an activity when we went, and we just passed them. They were having a good time, and then there were about ten or 12 people who were watching them play that weren't physically able to because they were in wheelchairs, or those what they called the Jori chair. It's one of those chairs that they can lay back like a bed, or they can set it up like a wheelchair. And honestly, they were half asleep, they were really not able to play the game, but they still had them around the edge where they could hear and see, so that was good. They just don't leave them stuck in a room.

I went to The Gardens at Brook Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care last week. Everybody was happy, that's what I like. The staff all seemed like they were very helpful, happy, for everybody to be happy. They have a schedule of activities. They had art and painting. I saw the dining room, I did see them serving. I went there when they were eating, so I got to see how that all went. In the rooms that I was going to be interested in, they had private bathrooms. They were also nice and spacious rooms, which I liked. And there was a lot of greenery outside like gardens and stuff, my mom likes that. I talked to some of the residents, and they were very forthcoming about the place being nice.

I like The Gardens at Brook Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care the best. It was a very good with a thorough tour. The facilities were nice. It seems like the residents were happy. It was very nice and quiet, and I liked it. The rooms were spacious, nice, and clean. The person who gave the tour was excellent. The dining area looked very nice, very clean, and very appealing. Someone was in their little theater watching a movie.
