Isle at Raider Ranch was nice. The staff was very professional and provided me with a lot of information. The rooms were neat and spacious. I like the way it was set up. The outdoor area was nice and scenic.

Every staff member I met at Isle at Raider Ranch was really sweet, especially the activity director. She was beyond great. The front desk person, Hope, was amazing just to greet people. The tour guide person, personality-wise, was very sweet also. However, I would never go to Isle at Raider Ranch and I will not take my brother there. It was, price-wise, the best-priced facility in Lubbock. The value was wonderful, but they only had shared rooms and the shared rooms were very, very tiny and the closets were outside of their rooms. My brother would not understand why his closet is not in his room. My biggest beef with Isle at Raider Ranch is they don't allow you to come in after 7:00, and if you're there, you have to leave at 7:00. They have very strict hours when you can go in and when you can't. For me, I don't even get off work till 6:30. For somebody who gets off work at 6:30, it doesn't matter how good Isle at Raider Ranch is. It was a deal killer for me. The activity director, Mel, came out and talked to me. She had people in the activity room and they were doing songs. She said sometimes they have dances and sometimes they play games. I saw her doing something with the residents and she was extremely nice. I saw several people come up and talk to her and I could tell the residents liked her. They had a courtyard, which was kind of in the middle of the building, but we didn't go out there. All I saw was the memory care.

We have chosen Isle at Raider Ranch for my mom. She will move in there. My experience with it was very thorough and positive. We have very few questions on what to expect, other than that, hopefully, we'll go in. We did try the food about a year ago. The food was delicious and well-cooked. They had a menu with several selections on it so there's something for everyone, so to speak. They did have several activities going before Covid hit.

Isle at Raider Ranch didn't suit my needs. It was a locked up facility and not as open for my sister to be able to move around and visit with other people. It seemed more closed in. I wasn't impressed with it. It felt more like an institution. It was modern looking and clean, but you could tell from the exterior that it was old.

My wife has been in memory care at Raiders Ranch for 3 years. The care she has received has been wonderful. Management, activities, caregivers all have been loving, caring, dedicated in every way providing for my bride of 51 years. I appreciate RR beyond measure. In a time of struggle and sorrow, these folks have been our comfort.

My mother was in the memory care unit with Alzheimers. She turned out to be a difficult and challenging resident due to her behavioral issues. Brandon and his staff took excellent care of her. I spend a considerable amount of time there and got to know the staff and some of the residents and was always touched by the tender care they provided to the residents . Our family will always be grateful for the tender care they provided her during this difficult time.

To say my experience with Raider Ranch Memory Care was great would be an understatement. I was the care giver for my wife when I had to have a medical procedure in 72 hrs. that would keep me from caring for her for four weeks. I said a few prayers and started contacting mental health organizations to get their insight. I narrowed my options to three facilities. They were all very kind and helpful, but there was just something special about Raider Ranch. They wanted to help anyway they could and they were also concerned about me. They took care of everything they possibly could in order for me to get other things in order. When we arrived I was immediately impressed with just how nice the facilities were and the staff was very caring. That eased my mind and as much as I wanted to take her home when I was physically able I knew deep down that she needed more care than I could give. I visited her the morning before I had the procedure and with the help of family I visited her everyday until I could go on my own. She was a resident of Raider Ranch Memory Care for nearly two years and I was able to visit her for a few hours everyday. I am saying this because not only did she receive wonderful care, but I noticed the same for other residents. I could not be happier about her care. THANK YOU RAIDER RANCH.

My husband is at Raider Ranch, and it is a great place. It’s very, very good. The meals were good, but also very expensive.
