From our newly renovated welcoming space to our individual senior living quarters, residents will enjoy the numerous activities and amenities offered at The Avenues of Park Forest. We offer an all-inclusive package that includes access to our community library, billiards room, movie and media room, business center, gaming lounge, therapy gym and fitness center with exercise classes, hospitality suites and guest apartments.

Residents will also enjoy three freshly prepared meals each day, beginning with breakfast choices to delight the palate. Our chefs take great care in preparing healthy meals, using only the freshest of ingredients. In addition to our daily dining selections, we offer bistro options throughout the day.

The time we went for a visit to The Avenues of Park Forest, it was really quiet. I wanted to see more of the residents, I guess, participating and all that. It was probably because it was right after dinner and most of them had already gone to their rooms. I could also see that the place isn't very bright in the evening. I was looking for something that has energy; like people talking or watching TV. I know it was the evening, but I expected a few people and there weren't any. Overall, it was clean and it was big. It had a nice courtyard which is one of the top things I require. The rooms were big. There are ones where you can have roommates then there are those you can live in by yourself. They're big enough that even a single room could fit 2 people. The staff member who accommodated us was really good. She greeted us and, of course, did the COVID screening and all that. She took us around and showed us their dining area, the courtyard, the rooms they have, the areas of the assisted living, and the memory care. She talked about how, if the residents progress into the next level and become aggressive, depending on how they are, that they would be kept in a separate area with all the same activities they have and their menu. She was really good during the tour and answered all of our questions. The facility was very clean, but it was just a bit dark. They have an exercise area, a garden, an art area, and a TV area. They also have many activities going on throughout the month.
