The MacArthur Hills Senior Living has a variety of what they offer the residents. It was very clean and there was a lot of attention given to the residents. The rooms were spacious, you can do a private room or a shared room, they're very clean, and you bring your own furniture. It's very home-like. They do puzzles, they do cornhole, they build things, do cooking, planting, painting, and a wide variety of things.

My visit to MacArthur Hills Senior Living was very, very nice. The young lady I toured with seemed very professional and caring. We sat down as she took my information, and I felt like she was very attentive and listening. I found the facility to be enormously clean, very nice, and seemed to be very well run. I didn't see any unhappy people. We also went through the memory care unit and I found it to be quite clean.
The memory care rooms were very clean and all of the residents seemed to be also clean and well taken care of. Although the memory care unit's dining room was a little different from the assisted living, it was very, very nice. I wasn't there during meal time, but they told me I was welcome to come back any time, unannounced. I felt good knowing that they were willing for me to just show up without them being prepared for me.
Everyone I met was very nice and very helpful. I even met the administrator of the place and he was very, very friendly, and outgoing. Everything looked modern and looked like they spent a lot of time taking care of the facility. They have exercise facilities, people that come in to do hair for the ladies, a pool for exercise, and physical therapists on site that come in and work with the residents. Overall, I was very impressed with them. Without having somebody actually stay there, I was very happy with the presentation.

MacArthur Hills was my second choice. It has the best facilities that I had seen ever. There was everything, including a pool; it has everything that someone would need. They offered meals, but they also show what people are going to have. They put it out for everybody to see, and it looked gorgeous. They have a salon, pool, exercise room, and outdoor courtyards. It was gorgeous and clean all the way through. It's about 600 yards from a few restaurants and a shopping center.

My mother has been at MacArthur Hills for 2 months now and this is the first time that she has been happy in the last 6 months. The staff is wonderful, if you have any question or thing that you need help with your loved one they will go out of their way to help you. They are very focused on safety with Covid19 going around and making sure that everyone is safe and at the same time they do what they can with setting up a visit or video conference with your loved one. With all of the amenities it makes my mom feel like she is in a resort.
