When I walked into Atria Grapevine, the first thing that I saw were some people were sitting out front (a group of women and a couple of men, and they were just enjoying trying to get their sunshine and their vitamin D, and that was lovely. They were sitting out there in this wonderful weather we're having right now in Texas. I thought, "Well, these people are happy. They wouldn't be here if they weren't." The lady who met me at the door, she was just so kind and so sweet. The rooms are very spacious, and I like the idea in the shower that they can just walk right in. It's very spacious and clean. It would certainly fit my friend's needs. The rooms were very clean. The director explained everything. It's not that far from my house. I wished it was a little closer.
I went over in the memory care department, and they did have activities. When I went by the other side, the ladies were painting, and they were doing some projects, and I think that's wonderful. They had some of the people's work displayed, and that's nice. That feels good. They got nice, cute artwork over there. There are attendants around everywhere. In the activity room, I saw three attendants, and there were two ladies. They were working with them and that's comforting.
