I have my parents and Mother-in-law at Atria. We've been there almost two years, both in Assisted Living and now Memory Care. The staff is so kind, helpful, upbeat, and supportive both for us and our parents! The staff bring such a brightness to me and often help reset my mood on the way in; I really appreciate that our parents also benefit from their upbeat kindness!
The feel of the building is a little old-fashioned, and I think that helps our parents feel at home - they are a little old-fashioned, too. My parents are in a Memory Care room together, so it is a little snug, but most other places couldn't even accommodate them and 2 walkers.
Our parents enjoy meals with their friends.
My MIL loves the MC garden (it is really nice!) and enjoys movie nights and mainly watches other activities, though she is welcomed and feels comfortable. At this stage, we most appreciate the seamless care and communication between doctors, nurse, home health, and staff; that has done wonders for their health and everyone's peace of mind.
