Springfield Heights Senior Living is good. The residents did an exercise class when I was there one time, and another time they were actually still outside, and I like to see my dad in an activity. The facility is really clean and has plenty of staff. At the time I visited, they combined the memory care and assisted living because the assisted living building had a flood or some water leak, so I don't know how things would be normally after all those residents left, but I do know the memory care section only has six patients, which is a really good staff to patient ratio. If the assisted living patients weren't there, then there would be six patients and two staff at the very worst.
I just had one little concern, and they said it would be fixed. When my dad arrived, they said they didn't have their own activity director because they just didn't have as many people yet, and that they were sharing one activity director with the assisted living building. When I met her, she was just the nicest person ever, so I'm still satisfied. I'm hoping things will stay just like this after the assisted living patients go back next door, but I saw how it was before they got there, maybe one time, and it was good, so I think it will be good. I did my research too. I talked to home health nurses that had gone to a bunch of different facilities and they all said it is good. I haven't heard one negative thing about them.
