Harmony at Victory Station was a beautiful place, but it's just too large for me and my wife. That's the one thing I did not like about it. It's just too big. The rooms in the memory care and everything about the place were very nice. I just felt like they were more catering to the elite. I didn't have a down-home feeling like we had at the other facility. The person who took me around was very nice though, answered any questions I had, and was very congenial. Then they had a courtyard and areas within the building that people could go out and relax in. They offered a lot.

I went on a tour at Harmony at Victory Station. It was awesome, and it was nice. My mother has dementia, so she would be on the memory care side. It was extremely spacious, and very well organized. They have a lot of activities planned to keep the residents busy and active, and that would be needed for dementia patients. The room that they showed me was nice, and it seemed very awesome. I really loved how they do the best buddy approach where a specific tech would be with my mom all day and even eat lunch with her in the dining room. It's just the cost. My dad pays out of pocket for my mothers' care at the facility that she is at right now. My dad can pay for it, but he is afraid that his money will run out before something happens to my mother. Unfortunately, it is just too expensive. The one who gave me the tour was great, he was very helpful, and answered all my questions. They were getting ready for lunch and it smelled delicious, but I didn't get to eat there.

We visited Harmony at Victory Station. We did not like it because the memory care was separate from the assisted living. Also, they did not seem to have people that were far worse than what my brother has. We didn't feel it was a good fit. They had three cottages there, one for memory care and one for assisted living. The staff said that my brother would have to go to memory care because he has hallucinations from time to time. The staff was pleasant enough.
