My sister is a resident of The Waterford at Dillon Pointe and so far it's working well. She has a very nice room. She went in initially as assisted living, and we're going to wait until she gets moved to memory care. And they accommodated that. Initially she had a roommate, but she was able to get a private room. She's doing very well in the private room, and they seem to be accommodating her needs. The staff members that I interacted with tend to be very caring, and they take the time to have a conversation with you. My sister has tried to manipulate them a little bit and they have worked with that in a professional way. The meals I have seen looks pretty good. They keep the place clean, and the maintenance man does a good job. I liked what they offered which is assisted living and memory care. And I like that it's a small community and not a huge one. Plus it's close to her doctor and the things that she needs.

My mother has been a resident in the memory care unit of this facility for over two years. Unfortunately, she will need to be moved to a facility with skilled nursing care. We have developed relationships with the staff there, and it is very evident that they care about my mother. Since it is small, it feels much more like a family setting than an institution. We will be very sad to leave.
