TerraBella Summerville is located in Summerville, South Carolina, just off Ladson Road and close to Chandler Bridge Creek and the Summerville Medical Center. The facility receives praise from family members for its numerous activities, which include arts and crafts, musical events and a regular games schedule. Residents appreciate that shuttle service from the facility to the local Walmart is provided, and family members comment positively on the extremely hospitable staff. They're also impressed by the home-cooked meals, as well as the facility's convenient location.

I toured for my husband. They made an appointment for an interview with him. I called to say that my husband got sick, and he was at the emergency room and asked if they could do the interview at the emergency room, which is next door. They said, no, they couldn't, because the person that was going to do it was sick. They said what they can do is make another appointment, but I haven't heard from them. And this was at the point of them interviewing him.
During the tour, it looked nice and a little larger and a little more sprawling than the other location I saw. It had a very nice entrance. They have different places where I saw different residents congregating and doing other things. I didn't see what activities they were doing, but I was able to see that they were doing things. There are also numbers of people sitting around in different spots.
The staff did a thorough interview during intake, and he was fine. However, he did not get back to me.
I thought the dining area was nice and the room I saw was very nice, too. It was much nicer than the other place and was a little bigger. You could put two chairs on the side and be able to talk to the person. You could just make that one cozier.
The presentation was great, but the follow up was not good.
