About This Community

Assisted Living and Secure Memory Care, located in West Ashley is surrounded by beautiful landscaping. We have gorgeous courtyards with walking pathways, front porches with rockers and tables for entertaining residents and their families. Our assisted living dining room has a large deck with BBQ area and planters that have been nurtured by our residents that are interested in gardening. We have PT, OT, and ST by Ageility, located right here on the premises. 24/7 nursing staff, a beauty salon, maintenance support, housekeeping, and laundry services, are just some of the wonderful services we have to offer. We provide 3 meals, 2 snacks, and hydration stations. Our Bistro area in assisted living is always available with snacks, fresh baked goods, yogurt, pudding, juices, and coffee.

I am a healthcare administrator and my 95 yo Aunt was in need of care. Members of the staff met me in the emergency room, assessed her and she was admitted to a sparkling clean room during a pandemic. The staff is polite and courteous. The facility is clean and I feel she is safe. Crazy number of activities so never get bored. The kitchen prepares excellent meals, honestly my Aunt hasn't eaten this well in a very long time. I recommend this facility wholeheartedly as I have no worries about her care.

We liked the Oaks at Charleston. We liked their programs, their setup, and everybody seemed nice and friendly. We toured both the assisted living and memory care, and it was clean. The lady answered all of our questions, was very pleasant, and professional. She got back to us immediately when we had a question. So, she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They also had activities for the residents. So, everything seemed nice.

The staff here is extremely nice and caring. My mother participates in many of the planned activities they have for the residents. Her room is nice and cozy. While the facility is probably an older one, it is clean and comfortable. We are pleased with the care my mother is receiving.

It was nice. My mother had an amnesia situation and she did not have her sight, and because of that, she was going to need the memory care. I didn't like the setup for memory care. Her room would have been too far away. The staff was wonderful. The rooms were nice. The food and the dining room were very nice. I'm sure there were a lot of activities in independent living. In the memory care, it didn't excite me at all. It seemed that the people were just sitting around. I didn't see anything that showed me that they had good, organized activities. The independent living looked nice. The memory care wasn't warm; it looked old.
