Harbor Cove Memory Care was depressing. The lady I had an appointment with (she even called to confirm my appointment) was nowhere to be found that whole day. So she didn't even show up to give me the tour. All the residents just looked sad, depressed, and lost. The employee that ended up giving me the tour said that all the residents spent almost all day, every day in that one room together. Just one central room. I witnessed an employee kind of shove off a resident because the resident was scared and confused. That was a huge turn-off for me. Like, I don't want my mom to be treated that way. The outside was nice, but the inside was just kind of run-down, especially the dining area. It was very plain, old, kind of dirty-looking, and depressing. They only had one central room where they said the residents stay all day, every day. They had a workout program on the TV, but the residents were just sitting there staring at it. They said that they have one big activity a month, but they don't have very many activities or engagement opportunities at all. They should have more activities and more friendly staff.

We toured Harbor Cove Memory Care. We enjoyed the staff, the facility, the cleanliness, the professionalism of the staff, and the amenities they have. They specialize in memory care only which caters to our needs. They seem to have more activities and keep the community more active. When we were there, they were about to have an ice cream social. We were shown an activities calendar for the month of what they would be doing each day. They have games to stimulate memories. They had fun activities and one was balloon volleyball. Just things of that nature. We didn't taste the food, but the dining area was modern and clean. We looked at a single private room. It was very nice, it had all the modern amenities, it was clean, and it was furnished. It had handicap sensibilities that may be needed. We're very pleased with the rooms.

Harbor Cove is “family”. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for memory care. Dementia comes in all forms and the staff does it’s best to care for each individual living there. They do their best. Each day is different and they adapt the best they can. Many activities are planned to make the residents feel special.

We were given a tour at Harbor Cove Memory Care. The information was very thorough and comprehensive. The services on the site appeared to be excellent. I don't have anything to say beyond everything was very satisfactory and excellent. The staff I met were very friendly. Whenever we ask for information, it was made available to us. The physical condition was excellent. The rooms were excellent. Nothing negative I can say about them. The activities were adequate and varied. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and responded to questions with information that I wanted.

Harbor cove is not a good place to go at this time. Rooms are dirty(Same dust under bed for months, and toilet dirty forever). My love one was hurt many times. They say he did it himself. A few times they didn't even know he was hurt. Aides on phone alot of the time.

Harbor Cove Memory Care only allows 30 residents. It's small, so you get a lot of attention and care there. Everybody seems very friendly, helpful, and supportive. They go out of their way to answer your questions. They don't just care about the residents; they care about the family members. They do activities every day with the residents. My husband seems happy.

My wife (Patti) has been a resident for almost 3yrs and she is very comfortable with the caring staff. Which means I am at ease that she is receiving the care and attention she needs. During the Covid-19 crisis the facility has has been over the top in maintaining the safety of all residents and staff.

At the time that I visited for my father, they had everybody out and sitting around and helping each other. It was really nice. The room was a very nice size. The bathroom was nice and small and I really like that. The bedroom was very, very nice. It was a really nice facility. I would love to have my father be able to stay in this facility. It would have been really nice. They had activities at that time. They were all out in the center and they had storytime going on. Also they had some arts and crafts where a couple of them could work on their art. It was very nice and I would recommend this place to others.

My mother is currently here. They do games, puzzles, and various kinds of bingo. They have things that typically elderly people can connect and do, not too cognitive. She is absolutely happy at this place. The food was not as good as I hoped it could be. It was a lot of carbohydrates. It was not great food. The caregivers are very personal.
