My mother has been placed at Sunrise of Westtown. They're nice, professional, and homelike. It has only been a week, but I'm very impressed. My mother is adjusting well. Her room is a bit small, but it's sufficient for her mobility level. The staff is very personable, and they make themselves available for any assistance. It's community living. She is in the memory care unit, and it's called the Renaissance program. They are implementing more activities as time goes on, and they have group activities. I have yet to experience any meals, but my mother says it's very good. The price is reasonable, too.

We went to Sunrise of Westtown, but it's 20 to 25 minutes from my mother's house. When we walked in, there's a big welcome sign with my name on it. The girl was very nice, and the facility was nice. Everybody was friendly there, they couldn't have been nicer. It's a beautiful facility. The room we saw was semi-private with a bathroom in the middle that was shared by both residents, so 2 beds and a bathroom. It was plenty big enough for them.
