I was very impressed with Brookdale Northampton. It was very lovely. It definitely would be the one that I would've chosen for my husband had I been able to follow through on it. The staff was excellent. The residents were very happy. They've got beautiful rooms. It had a bed, sofa, and a chair, but it was very comfortable looking. There were two dining areas, one area for people that needed help with their eating, and another area for those that could eat by themselves. They had a salon, and they had a nice outside area where people could walk. It was a very nice place. I will definitely keep it in my mind should anything come up where I can send someone there. It was very clean and well-maintained.

My mother moved into Brookdale Northampton. They are very accommodating, very friendly, and it is close to my home. The apartment is OK, it is clean, and spacious. They have a calendar of events that they publish monthly, so it keeps them going the whole day. My mother enjoys the food, she raves about it. They have a yard, a path where they could walk, and they have exercise activities at least three times a week. They also have socials, but they don't have a gym.

We liked Brookdale Northampton a lot. We liked the people there and the small nurse to patient ratio. The grounds were nice. They have a lot of activities planned for the seniors. The rooms were nice and decent sized, and they have their own showers. They also have a salon.

The director that we met at Brookdale Northampton was very nice, very friendly, and very informative. However, we did not particularly like the space because it was on the lower level. We felt like we were in a basement. It was dark. They had a very small outdoor space that had walls all around it because we were on the lower level. You have to really look up to the trees. It seemed very cramped and there were not a lot of places to walk around at all. I think they have shared and private rooms, but the place was the oldest and most rundown-looking out of the places that we went to. However, the staff was great. They were very nice, and the admissions director was great.
