Life Guidance (Memory Care) is not a thriving environment for your loved one...high turnover of management and staff for a place that has been open a little over 2 years. Residents spend alot of time wandering or watching 12 hours of television...do your homework...

I visited the facility last month and found it to be a beautiful building with great energy and very engaging staff. The sales director showed me the entire community and introduced me to other staff who made me believe residents are their priority. I was mostly interested in the memory care as I am exploring options for my relative who was diagnosed with dementia. The memory care unit was clean, modern and apartments were specious, bright and functional. I found them to be ideal for what I was looking for. I saw residents being engaged by staff in different activities and felt that it would be a perfect fit for my relative. Food appealed to be great as well. I was really happy with my experience at the community and will consider it as a home for my relative.

I visited Atria Lafayette Hill Memory Care (they call it Life Guidance) and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and open feel of the dining room and activity areas. They have a great outdoor courtyard with a path that I can already see mom enjoying. The staff seemed happy and were engaged with the residents. They were actually bowling! I'm moving mom into a private studio suite and feel great about our decision.
