Residences at Chestnut Ridge is very clean and very well maintained. The staff seems friendly and knowledgeable. They seem concerned about their residents, and they answer any question my mother has. She always wants to leave, so it's hard for them to have to deal with that issue, but they're very patient with her. Her room is shared because there was no single room available. They have group activities, art, a little cafeteria, a lounge where there's coffee and cookies, and a TV area. She's not crazy about the food.

My mother stayed at Residences at Chestnut Ridge for a month in a respite capacity and we really liked the place. Everybody was great. The dining area looked very good. The rooms were updated and very nice. They had different kinds of group activities. It would be top of the list, but the price is a little bit over our budget.
