About This Community

The Ascot Park Senior Living family developed the concept of small home like settings to give each resident a more comfortable and intimate living environment. Every aspect of each individual building is designed with the resident in mind. From our cozy living rooms to our extra attentive staff, no detail is overlooked when it comes to our residents feeling at home. Our goal at Ascot Park Senior Living is to meet each resident's needs while maintaining the highest level of choice, dignity, privacy, respect, and individuality. To assure that this is done effectively, a personal assessment is conducted prior to move-in. Residents, family members and the Ascot Park Senior Living staff work together to develop an individually-tailored service plan. A follow-up family care conference will be held regularly to assure that, as a resident's needs change, the Personalized Service Plan is adjusted accordingly.

We provide three levels of care: Assisted Care, Transitions Program, and Enhanced Memory Care. The Ascot Park Senior Living mission is to create and sustain comfortable, caring environments for those who depend on us.

My wife is a resident of Farmington Square Eugene. The thing I'm most concerned about is that so many of their residents are in wheelchairs. They can't move around much and they don't talk much. My wife still talks and likes to talk so she feels that the place doesn't fit her. I found the staff to be helpful, and she likes them. She claims she doesn't like the food very much, and that they're always cutting up things. But I can understand because seeing the other residents, the community is just trying to make the food easier to chew. They have a variety of things you can do, like entertainers and pianists who come in and play for the residents, they toss balloons for exercise, and so on. They have a big room for activities, and they go outside in the indoor court, and they can sit on a bench or whatever. If you have a relative with the condition that many of the residents here have, you'd be happy that the staff watches them well. They wheel them around in their wheelchairs since some of the residents can't do that by themselves. It's currently costing me about $5,800 a month, my wife has her medications, and she has her hair done, which is paid for separately.
