The Renaissance of Stillwater seemed comfortable and home-like. Once I got to the memory care unit, there was a smell that I didn't really care for. All of the residents were up in the front room when you entered the building. They were giving them flu shots. They were all sitting and waiting right there.
The memory care apartments were really nice. The lady that got me on the tour was just really helpful and answered all of my questions too. They said that they usually take the residents out to the lake and the ponds to feed the ducks. If they couldn't get them out anywhere else because of COVID, they would at least take them out in the bus for snow cones and stuff like that. It is nice that at least they're getting them out of the facility.
I was told that we could visit and come and get my mom and take her out for lunch, Christmas at our home, or anything like that. I liked all of that. I saw the assisted living area, and it was nice.
