We decided to go to Villagio Senior Living for my husband's care because it was the closest place to me and the least expensive one, as well. We moved him in two weeks ago. They were clean, it was nice, and it's only five miles away from me. So far, everybody has been nice, and I have no complaints. The facility is updated, it doesn't feel like an old place, it's modern, and it just felt like home. My husband is not eating much, and the last time I was there, I was not impressed with what they gave him. That doesn't mean it's not good, but I know the food was cold, and he did not have the appetite to eat it. I think they also don't give him enough water. They put a big glass of juice in front of him, and that's about it. I don't think he can participate in any activities. He has dementia, and he's already in stage six and doesn't do anything. He's in the memory care unit.

I went to Villagio Senior Living when my mother was there, and it could have been run better. The care was sporadic, it's just dependent on who was working, some were very good, and some were terrible. The food tasted really good, but it was really salty and a lot of sweets. The apartments were very nice, they had a few activities for assisted living, but my mother was in memory care. They had one lady there for two months, and she did all kinds of activities, except for her there were none, they had a TV on all the time, and that's it.

Villagio Senior Living was by far one the better ones I looked at. It was very open and very up-to-date. The staff was good. They had their activity director, and they had much more activities than most places. They had a courtyard and gardening. The food preparation seemed much better. It's a very nice facility. They had senior living, but they had memory care also.

BEWARE!!! This is the worst memory care facility! The staff are not caring and were very rough with my dad. They do not pay attention to the residence. On more than one occasion I personally had to go find a staff member to help residence in the common area. My dad fell over 40 times in one month due to lack of supervision. We ended up moving him to a different memory care facility where he did not fall one time in 30 days.

My husband moved into Villagio Senior Living, it is very good, and I’m very happy with it. The staff is very good, I haven’t met anyone that hasn’t been very good, caring, or fine. We’re in memory care, it’s good, they have a few people who come in and play the piano and sing songs. The dining experience is good. The cost compared to the others is very good.
