The best I liked about Cherry Blossom Senior Living was its amenities and level of staff. The least I liked was the price; it was too high. The staff stopped what they were doing to answer any questions that we had. They allowed us to tour during activity time just to kind of see what it would be like. They offer everything needed, a gym, salon, restaurant, meeting hall, and a living room area. It was kind of far from where we live, but it was only a 20-minute drive. At the time, because of what they offered, the 20-minute drive felt worth it. It's near hospitals and restaurants.

Cherry Blossom Senior Living was a large facility. The staff to resident ratio was certainly adequate. Because it's so large, it's hard to get enough attention on each individual resident. That doesn't mean that they don't do it, but if you need a lot of handholding it's too large for that. The facility was very, very nice though, and it's very open. There are a lot of rooms, like multiple dining rooms and multiple outside areas. The staff that I talked to were absolutely fabulous and very honest with me about what they could do and what they couldn't do. The facility is practically brand new, and it's much more of an open plan than any of the other ones I visited. It's shaped like a T (if I remember it right), so if you're in the center you can really see everything. They had a salon, a courtyard, physical therapy services, and they were painting toenails when I was there. There's just a lot of stuff for them to do. The rooms were pretty nice too. The dining room was very open because of COVID protocols, and it's very spread out so the tables weren't close together. Since they had tons of rooms, they were able to do that. It's located close to the hospital I use, which is Mount Carmel East. It's almost across the street from it. The doctors that come there are associated with the same medical system that I'm associated with. I think that was very interesting.

My father moved to Cherry Blossom Senior Living. I very much like the facility. They are very communicative. We keep in touch quite often, which I very much appreciate with the lockdown; that's a very important thing. I think the room is appropriately sized for him. I think he wanted something a little bigger, but he doesn't really need anything bigger. It doesn't look like you're in any kind of facility. It doesn't look like you're in a hospital or anything like that. So, it's cozy. He likes the food. He's a little bit immobile, so he can't participate in all of the activities, but he does get frequent visits. I know they have a theatre, a courtyard, and a bistro like a food place. They do have a bar for happy hour and that is all I'm personally aware of. They could have more, but I'm not totally sure. I very much like their layout. I like the facility. I like the inside. It's a brand-new facility, so everything looks very new and modern.

Cherry Blossom Senior Living is a very nice facility. I met with a bunch of people that had family there and they said the care was great. The rooms are very nice. It's like a nice hotel room. The aides are all very friendly. It's light, bright, and clean. Because of COVID you can't go in. They have a lot of activities and a lot of amenities. They keep the residents busy. I'm very happy with where my husband is at. Once I saw this place, it was like, "This is it."
