The Wellington seemed OK. It was certainly not extravagant or anything like that. We did not like the atmosphere of the floor that we toured, which would have been for the memory care people. I think it was a second floor. The memory care residents are basically confined to that floor of the building. The atmosphere, like the color schemes, the carpeting, and that kind of stuff just seemed slightly dark.
That's some of the stuff we were looking for Mom. She likes it bright, open, and well-lit. With Wellington, there just wasn't quite enough space for them to move around on a daily basis, and it just seemed a little confined and dark. I think that they had a little outdoor courtyard, but it was tiny. Probably something like a 30 foot by 30 foot courtyard where they can go in.
Four working ladies came into the room while we were meeting with the other staff. They seemed friendly, and for the very little that we interacted with them, they were OK.
