I went to tour Brookdale Bellevue in Syracuse. I thought it was very nice, but to be very honest, I thought it was a little shabby compared to the other Brookdales I've seen. I think that it was probably a wonderful memory care unit for some people, but it just didn't seem to be what I needed for my sister.

My mom is in Brookdale Bellevue in their memory care. My experience has been good. I thought the place was clean, and the people were very nice. The staff was nice. The activities looked all right to me, and the food was good. They have painting, they take the clients out shopping, it seems fine to me, but it's just too expensive now.
