My father is at Amber Court of Westbury. It's all good and the room is a good size. They have activities going on, but I'm not always there, so I don't see everything. They have a salon, physical therapy, and an activities room with a TV. The food is fine, and he hasn't complained about it. They have a courtyard, but I haven't been out there, though. I haven't been there during meals because they don't really encourage you to visit during meals. The value is good compared to other facilities.

My mother-in-law moved into Amber Court of Westbury, but she was only there for a little bit. She's now hospitalized and is pretty sick.
Generally, we were pleased with her care there. In the place she was previously, she needed more care than they could give, and Amber Court was able to give her that extra attention that she needed, because she needs memory care in the first place.
She was in a shared room with another person because they didn't have any other availabilities. It was very simple and it was a fine room. They don't allow you to go up to the room when you visit her, they bring her down to a room. You meet with your loved one in a room downstairs on the first floor and you're not allowed to go up to her room. I just saw it briefly. It's nothing fancy there, but we were more concerned about getting her care and attention than the decor of the room.
From what I saw, the staff was very attentive and caring. I don't know specific activities, but I know that in the memory care facility, they keep the residents busy all day. They play games and they do things all day, which was what my mother-in-law needed. She was paid attention to and that was what was important to us.
