I met one of the staff at Castle Senior Living at Forest Hills. She seemed to be a very nice and very warm person. She gave me a tour; she took time and explained everything. They seemed to have a very nice place. Their price was actually low. I was actually thinking about moving my uncle there, but it didn't work out. I tried to plan it from two weeks ahead and things did not work out. I was the one constantly following up; they were not reverting back on time. That part, I am very disappointed. They declined my uncle, but they did not have any conversation nor have a meeting with me. It was very unplanned. Facility-wise, it had lots of amenities. There was a board near the entryway where they have the daily activities listed out. It was a very nice, warm, and cozy place. It had the countryside feel; I really like it, but it didn't work out. I didn't even pursue Castle Senior anymore because I personally was very offended by the way they handled the whole thing. It was one thing not to expect somebody, but the way it was done was very bad. It was a very poor experience. The staff was nice but I didn't appreciate the comment she made when I first complained to her that the way the other staff had handled the evaluation was not up to my taste. Her response was, 'Why don't you move your uncle elsewhere?' but that's exactly why I came to Castle Senior Living. The way she said it, I found it very impolite. Her tone was impolite.

Castle Senior Living at Forest Hills was a bit odd in terms of getting around, but they were really friendly, and it felt really good. They had buses to take people on tours and activities, and it was really well done. They have knowledgeable staff, and whatever they needed to do, they will tell you about it.

He has been so responsive from the very first contact. The entire staff has been more than accommodating with his needs. I would recommend Castle to anyone.
