Pacifica Senior Living Santa Fe was awesome. My dad was in memory care and our experience was amazing. I ended up making friends with the people that work there. It was something. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. They were getting meals for me and they were incredible. They were constantly checking on me. It was almost like I was the person that they were looking after. Dad's room was comfortable and really clean. It smelled good. I was impressed with that. When I would walk in there, there was a little communal area where they were kind of watching T.V. I felt OK knowing my dad was there. I didn't have any concerns with them. They were professional and I trust them.

Pacifica Senior Living Santa Fe is like the oldest nursing home in town. It is twenty five years old. It is showing its age. From a cost down point, it was attractive. We got to meet several people in the memory care section that were there. It doesn't compare at all to the other two we went to. They were very forthcoming. Sebastian was the most professional of the three places we went to. They answered our questions directly. We got to meet the director of the facility, and she was very nice. She offered for my brother and my mother to spend the day at the facility and participate in the activities. They are getting ready to do some remodeling, but the facility felt a little bit old, a little bit tired, and much more like a nursing home.

I loved Pacifica and the people. My main issue was the untrained staff on Alzheimers and Dementia Care. Maria, was Great! Others needed Alzheimer's training and how to handle patients. My experience there with my husband was not a good one. The limited staff didn't help either. Tommy, was trying very hard and I truly believe she brought a bright light to Pacifica. I just wish the changes came sooner than later for my Carlos.
