At MorningStar’s North Ridge memory care community, we provide holistic memory care Albuquerque families can rely on. Our community offers various levels of living support, with our Reflection Neighborhood devoted to gentle care for seniors with memory impairment. Each senior receives individualized care for their stage of memory-loss conditions, whether onset, advanced or somewhere on the continuum of change.

MorningStar’s approach to personalized and compassionate supported living is encompassed under what we call Lavender Sky. Under a Lavender Sky, we thoughtfully enter, embrace, and explore to find purpose and encouragement in every aspect of daily routine. Families can rest easy knowing their loved ones are valued and cared for by experts who deeply understand memory-related conditions.

MorningStar at North Ridge was a beautiful community. It's a pretty luxurious setting, but the surrounding area looked like an old-fashioned style of decoration with lots of dark wood and the room itself had a Motel 6 feel to it. We were toured by a nice lady and she was great. She'd been there for several years, so she knew her stuff. They had an exercise room, bingo games, special activities where they go out into the community, a walking group, a gardening group, and plenty of activities to keep anybody interested if they wanted to participate. There were tables for four and a private dining area (if you need it). I also loved the fact that they had a menu posted so that you can order pretty much whatever you want the day you want it.

It was the one I liked best; it was nice, and it was a locked facility. They had nursing on staff. I liked the grounds, people seemed to care, and the dining area was fine. The staff I spoke to was very knowledgeable.

It was very good as well, but he doesn’t need that high of the level of care. The staff was excellent, and very caring. They had a set meal. The care that they provided was appropriate.

I thought it was fine but too institutional. The rooms and the apartments were fine. Some of the residents looked bored, but others were having activities and doing things.

My dad passed away in June after being in North Ridge almost two years. He was treated with respect and dignity, which I saw every time I was there. He was always clean, his room clean and the cafeteria staff would cater to him. I can't begin to tell you how much it meant to my family to have a line of workers outside his room when he passed just wanting to tell him goodbye and how many of them cried with us. Thank you North Ridge for the care you gave my dad!

We have my mother in this Alzheimer’s facility, and we are very impressed with it. The people are very caring and friendly, and it did not remind me of a nursing home. The staff is very professional, kind, and caring.

It's all about the people and the people at Northridge make it a special place. The community Administrator is an expert in the knowledge of Alzheimer's Disease and has assembled a team of caring professionals. As a family, we could not be more pleased with Northridge.
