I like the Beehive Homes of Albuquerque mainly because my mom is pretty far along in her Alzheimer's and there are a lot of people like her there. They have four different pods. The rooms were okay. They had an outdoor space. They were my second choice. The staff was great and very friendly. I went to two different buildings, one of which they had just remodeled, and it was a lot brighter and airier. I like the open floor plan where everyone's room walks out into the main areas, like the kitchen and living room, because people get lost with Alzheimer's. I would recommend them because I like that they have different levels. They have a lot of activities.

Dad was at BeeHive Homes of Albuquerque before. It was a smaller home and we were happy with them. It was adequate at that moment. He was in memory care and they had more activities. They had community outreach that came and engaged with the seniors, from bringing a dog to dancing and singing. We had no complaints about that.

BeeHive Homes of Albuquerque is very home-like. It's kind of an apartment complex. It has a very small resident-to-staff ratio. They are very welcoming, very kind, and caring. My mom is in the memory care and her room is very nice. The food is excellent. The dining area is also clean and welcoming for the residents.

Beehive Homes of Albuquerque was great. I met with Joy and she was very informative and organized. She really cared to get to know my grandma. It was clean, very friendly, and very, very nice. It was just too expensive, unfortunately.

There are some staff who go above and beyond and I wish they could be cloned. I have no idea why some of the others are there. My sister's stuff is constantly going "missing". Especially her cell phone which is her lifeline to her family. At this point, I am not real thrilled with the care she is getting there. Her mental and physical health seems to have gone downhill since she has been there. It breaks my heart and I feel so guilty every time I leave her.
