We were able to complete our tour at Fox Trail Memory Care Living at Hillsdale East. They were very nice, and we are considering it. It was small, which is nice. It was all contained in a small area, so that the residents are not disoriented. The people running it seem very nice. It was a clean facility.
The only thing I didn't like was the bathrooms were not in the room, and they were in the hall. My mother would prefer a bathroom in a room, but we still would consider it because the bathroom wasn't very far from the room.
There were nice outdoor facilities and nice porches for the warmer weather. The residents all looked happy and content. The staff was very welcoming, warm, and very knowledgeable. However, the floor had to be redone. There were holes in the floor. There was a patio. The residents were sitting around watching television. There was outdoor sitting facilities as far as I could see.
