Traditions of Cross Keys is a small community. It is all one level, so my mom doesn't have to go on an elevator to get anywhere. The staff at every level are very personable, reached out to me, offered assistance, and just truly seemed like they really cared for mom before she got there. Now that she's in their memory care community, I've gotten updates from them. They let me know how she's transitioning and things of that nature. I just feel that their communication with the family is excellent. It's an older facility, but her room is clean, painted, and well kept. The menu looked awesome too, with lots of choices. They have plenty of activities and have encouraged mom to participate in those activities in her first week.

My mom put my dad in Traditions of Cross Keys. He moved there and he ended up in the hospital after four days. They put him in assisted living initially and then moved him into memory care after forty-eight hours. I would rate them a "one" because my father fell, and they did not get him the medical attention that was required. They had activities there, but I don't know if he participated in any since he fell within the first twenty-four hours. It looked like a very nice place. I did not see a room, and they only had visitation in the lobby. The outside was very nice, kept up, and landscaped. The location was very close to family. There is a hospital about a five-minute drive away, but there are not a lot of restaurants around there.

Traditions of Cross Keys was excellent. It was very nice, very clean, and they had activities. It was perfect, but I just couldn't afford it; it is too high. The staff was excellent, very polite, very kind, and gave me a complete tour. I like the staff. If I had a choice, that is where I would put my husband. The rooms were beautiful. It had single beds, closets, a sink, a bathroom with a railing to help them get on the toilet, and a walk-in shower. They offered me coffee, and they gave me a parking spot when I came in. They also gave me donuts and beautiful cupcakes. They gave me a Covid test before I came in.

We found Traditions of Cross Keys for my uncle and he moved in already. Everything around it is very good so far, I have no complaints or anything, so everything is good. I want to see them more proactive on communications with what's going on, and I'm not aware that he's going to a lot of events, so maybe more activities. In terms of care, everybody's doing fine. Everything has been really well executed, I think they're all doing good, I have no complaints about the staff, they're all friendly and helpful. I have not personally seen his room except from a window. It looked pretty good and spacious enough for him. There's a place for them to walk around on the inside, so in the summer or spring they can be outside, but still be safe, not wander off. Apparently you can go for walks within the building, which is good, although I don't know if it completes a circle, because I heard he goes for walks, which is good.
