The woman who helped us, the director of sales and marketing at Spring Oak at Toms River, was very helpful, very knowledgeable, provided us with a physical tour, and answered all of our questions.
The facility was very clean and the residents that we encountered seemed very content. The programs that they offered were very good. Financially, it was a very reasonable facility.
The layout seemed to be very well planned out. They had different sections of the facility. They had assisted living with 3 or 4 different levels of care. They also have a memory care community so it's easy to access there.
The room we saw was a studio apartment. It was a little on the older side though. It was an empty room and they just replaced the wall-to-wall carpeting, freshly painted it with all new molding, but it was still an older facility. They had a library, several sitting rooms, a community dining room, an outside area, and a courtyard.
