We've visited Astoria Senior Living. It was busy, they had a lot of traffic in the front, and there was a lot of natural light. But how busy their lobby was, was what struck me as the most memorable. The room was very nice, we saw a 2-room suite. It had a small kitchenette with a refrigerator, countertops, and a sink, and the living room was separate from the sleeping area. The staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable about the options and answered all of our questions at the time. The place was nice from what I saw and the staff did very well. We took an elevator, I didn't like the fact that their memory care was in the basement.

My dad spent 8 awful weeks at another memory care facility. We then moved him to memory care at Brighton Gardens. From the moment we had contact with any of the staff members it was easy to tell how much they truly cared about the residents. My dad is the most challenging resident in the community. They have met every challenge with compassion and creativity. I amazed their ability to see him first and the disease second.
We as a familyfeel we are members of a team that helpsmy dad get the best care possibe. The have even accepted hiscat as a member of the community.
They attempt to engage my dad in things he can do and offer a wide range of daily activites.
Truly Brighton Gardens stepped up at the worst placein our families journey with my dad and remain our heros!
