My husband is in the memory care of Carriage House Senior Living Community. I like how easy it was to do all the paperwork and get everything done to get him there. That was a positive. The facilities are very clean and well-kept. The people there seem very nice, caring, and very receptive. I think the residents spend a lot more time out and with other people than they do in the rooms at the memory care. But the room was clean. It had a nice big bathroom and nice linens. You can get a TV if you want.
My husband has been there for four days now. The food is very good. They have an event director. They have music going on all the time. There's like a dining room they can sit in, and there's a place where they can sit and watch TV if they want to. There's an activity room and there are all kinds of games and puzzles in there. They have activity boards for them. They have sing-a-longs, too. Also, if it's a nice day, they can go outside. It's like a big fenced-in area and a garden area that they can walk through.

We visited Carriage House. We looked at the room and the overall description of how the place ran. The parking is a little tight, but other than that, everything looked nice and well-kept. The staff who gave the tour was very nice and seemed to be very knowledgeable. We looked at the dining area, and it looked to be quite adequate. They pointed out a library and the exercise area.

I toured Carriage House Senior Living Community with my mother, and she's going there for respite on the 10th of the month. In terms of what I have seen, it exceeded my expectations. It was clean. It was lively. People weren't just sitting around in chairs. They seemed to be active and walking around and there was an activities director. I couldn't say enough about it. And they had just many, many places, both inside and outside, for the residents to be, but yet it's very secure. It was spotless. The staff was just great. I did not get a chance to try the food. My mom just wanted ice water. So one of the staff members brought over a big pitcher of ice water, and she was impressed with that. But from what I can smell, it was scrumptious. It wasn't that kind of nursing home type of atmosphere at all, where the food just smells awful. It smelled like a restaurant, it was nice.

My father is at the Carriage House. It's good all the way around. The staff is very caring. The food is well set up and well prepared. There's singing, word games, and other stimulating activities.

My mom has been living in the dementia department at Carriage House (Carriage House Senior Living Community). It's really good and they explained everything to me and my mother. The place is clean and she has a room. They come in, clean, and wash her clothes. They give her her medication and they see their doctor there. The staff is really good. They have an exercise room, activities like arts and crafts, and they take them to church on a bus. My mother is eating there really good. My mom is well taken care of.
