My brother lives in Brookdale Biloxi. It is very expensive, but I guess everybody else is. They don't seem to give each one of the residents as much personal care as we would have hoped that they would have and the facility seemed like an older one and hasn't been updated. Most of the facilities around here that we visited don't have carpet in the residents' area, but they have and it is very dirty. So, it doesn't seem like they do a very good job in housekeeping. His room is satisfactory. He is in a shared room but there's no one on the other side.

My sister is in Brookdale Biloxi. She's in the memory care unit now, but she was in assisted living. They're very neat and clean. They have a lot of activities after COVID ended. During COVID, they couldn't have activities, but now they're starting to ramp up. They do outings. They have a nurse onsite. I've been happy with them. They have monthly calls with family and friends. Her friends tried the food and they were happy with it. The staff members seem very willing to help and answer questions. They do quarterly care conferences with the families to give them updates.
The dining area is simple but adequate. It has light and it seems friendly. My sister is in a shared room, so there are two beds with a wall between them and a common bathroom that they share for the two people. There's a refrigerator, a sink, and a little kitchenette. It's reasonable. They have a salon, they have activities ongoing, and they have an outdoor area they can sit like a garden area.

My mom already lives in Brookdale Biloxi but I just moved her into the memory care of it from the assisted living. So far, it's been wonderful. She progressed into it and they take excellent care of her.
They take good care of her, her room is kept very nicely, they feed the residents, and they do activities with them. She's happy there and I'm happy.
They sing-alongs with them, they dance with them, they do puzzles and trivia, and they play games. They try to keep them busy and active with activities like hitting and throwing a balloon and with wet noodle things you use in a pool. They have music that the older people dance to and they enjoyed it. I've watched them and enjoyed them.

We had a friend at Brookdale Biloxi, and we visited it last year. The place was very nice and very clean. Everybody seemed to be satisfied. We didn't tour around the entire facility but we did see some of it. Our friend was at the memory care. We know that he was able to have meals brought to him if he wanted something special. They try to make sure that he eats because he forgets. Their staff was very attentive.
