The Blake at Biloxi is very new. It's only a year and a half old. We like the style of the building and the amenities, like the courtyard, the dining hall, the cafe, and all of the features that a lot of places offer, but they were just a little bit nicer. The staff is excellent. The sales rep, Monica, is wonderfully helpful. Everyone we met are supportive, good, and my husband continues to be very happy there. They are very friendly, professional, and good at their job. They all seemed happy to be working there. They have a full calendar that includes going to local places like restaurants or to the casinos, as well as entertainment at least once a month (like they had a carnival once and a food festival). Their daily calendar has at least two or three things on it every day for residents to participate in. I've eaten there several times and the food was excellent. It's expensive to live there, but you can see where the money's going. I don't feel like it's overpriced. I think you pay a little more there and they deliver better quality service, upkeep, and commitment to making it a nice place to live. They've been accommodating, patient and they've been great partners in getting my husband to a balanced place where we're all happy with the outcome. They are not only great at giving attention to taking care of the residents, but they also take care of the families of the residents. So, I feel cared for, even though I don't live there. They take very good care of me and help me cope with what's happening just as much as they do with my husband, and that's important to me.
