My father is at Candlelight Lodge Retirement Center. They're all right with me. I have no complaints. He said they're good to him. I don't have a problem with the staff. I have not seen anything that is wrong or anything. I only have good things to say about them right now.
On the weekends, they're so busy, so it's hard to get to talk to him. He said the food is good. I don't like his room; it's too small. They have activities, but I haven't seen them because you can't get in. You can only visit on the outside for 20 minutes.
The building is as good as it gets. When I first went in there I didn't know they had dementia and Alzheimer's patients, and they get mad and throw coffee on the floor. They have a garden and a flower bed. He's in the locked ward.

I went to Candlelight Lodge Retirement Center, but I was not impressed. The building was rundown, and their memory care unit was atrocious. It was not good, but the people were fine. The rooms were old, rundown, and needed a lot of repair. The memory care unit was not in a separate building. There were no activities going on there.
