We went to Talamore Senior Living - Saint Cloud. Their memory care facility has very small rooms, and my mother needs her piano with her and things that comfort her, so that wouldn't work. If size doesn't matter, Talamore is excellent. Everything else about it was excellent. It's nice and clean, and the people were very friendly. It's right by a freeway, but you can't hear a sound. It's very well insulated. You can't hear anything. It's a very quiet and peaceful place.
The staff was very knowledgeable and very pleasant. The level of care was very good. The rates were actually better than any place else. They were excellent. I was pleased that they had both Catholic and Protestant services. Everything about the Talamore was a cut above most of the other places.
The assisted living apartments were excellent. Before my mother needed memory care, I would've taken Talamore over anybody else. They had wonderful apartments. The staff were happy, smiling, friendly, and very pleasant. They had a beauty shop and a whirlpool tub, and that's important for old people for their circulation. They had everything that you need.
