My mother loves living here. She is happy and cared for. They have a lot of activities for all and the staff treats us with respect. My mother is well taken care of. The place is bright and staff friendly. It's great to walk in and see them interacting with the residents. They have church service, a hairdresser that comes in. Arbor Oaks Senior Living had poor communication and poor management (from the very top of the staff all the way through). I couldn't get simple things done, like making sure that my mom always had Depends in her bathroom. I go there and there wouldn't be any. She has two different colored sheets and they never get changed. My mother's in memory care, so she doesn't know if they're clean or dirty. She'll also put dirty clothes on top of the clean clothes. They had some people come in. They had music and a TV, but they could never get my mom to go. I just always got excuses. It was like, "Oh this week it didn't happen because of COVID" or, "We were short staffed this week" or, "Your mom didn't want to." They never made any effort. I never got to know anybody because they have so much turnover. They were using their activity people for serving meals, because they didn't have enough staff. The place was clean. Everything looked fine. When you walk in, their office is to the side. Sometimes you don't see people, but if you do, you're not always greeted. The last straw was probably the air conditioning in the wall. My mom would unplug it, because it's noisy. I go into a room and it would be 90 degrees in there.
