I toured NorBella Senior Living - Savage. They didn't have a lot of scheduled activities yet, so I didn't think it was going to be engaging enough. It was nice and clean. They have a beauty salon. However, they didn't look staffed enough or ready to take more people. They had eight residents in memory care when I toured.

NorBella Senior Living - Savage was a nice setup. It's a new facility and appeared to be well-managed. The memory care unit appears to be clean and well-staffed. They staffed according to the needs of the residents, rather than a fixed number of staff on hand at all times. They have separate areas set up for games and smaller interactions. There is another little area for their dining. They also have a secure patio area.

We ended up going with NorBella Senior Living - Savage for dad. It's very simple. It's not something overly extravagant compared to other locations that we visited and based on the care that my dad needs, it meets those needs a lot better than other places.
The apartments are great. It's a brand new location, so they're very spacy and very bright. It has all the home necessities that he would need. They have the laundry services and the meal services for him. They'll be able to assist with his medical stuff. We have not tried their food, but the ambience there looked very nice. It's bright and it just feels homey in there.
They have very good staff. Probably the only complaint would be just when we went in for his assessment, it was just a little bit unorganized, but everything ended up lining up.
